The Caribbean Council was pleased to hold a members-only roundtable event with H.E. Judith Slater, UK High Commissioner to Jamaica in London yesterday.

Discussions surrounded the tremendous opportunities which exist to uplift existing levels of UK-Jamaica bilateral trade via the benefits of the Economic Partnership Agreement.

As Jamaica invests in infrastructure development across transport, energy, security, sanitation and irrigation, there are multiple opportunities for UK firms to bring their expertise to bear in the country.

We also discussed the now extremely positive economic climate in Jamaica with hard won stability making the country an attractive proposition for UK investors.
