An informative discussion led by senior figures in the Bahamian Government detailed Bahamas’ continuing successes as an international financial centre, the evolving international regulatory landscape as the UN agree resolutions to guide policy in this area, the Bahamas current case at the ICJ, and the innovations which Bahamas has brought into its legislation to allow the trading of carbon instruments and to be a best in class jurisdiction globally as a domicile for captive insurance.
